OLD SUN is a tragic love story enclosed in a love letter to old Europe. 70-year-old Daniel and 40-year-old Ava meet in a graveyard under the worst imaginable circumstances and form a connection that moves fluidly between the romantic and familial, becoming each other’s anchors while they are both at risk of drowning in their private grief. Around them, climate change and global unrest slowly chips away at the physical world they both hold dear – of nature, art, literature, science and music.
